However, I have only seen two of those cooling units in action but both times the unit itself was a bit loud.

Maybe get yourself a pedestal unit and enclose it, mountain mods and some manufacturers make stand alone pedestals/rad boxes.

Awesome, thanks for the confirmation. The block is integrated with the card so that's a non issue and I'll have to see how loud it is once I get it running but I use a headset for all my audio I think it'll be okay.

Assuming the shipping estimate is good I'll be up and running in 10 days; I can't wait to actually try out my monitors in 4K.

Try and get a few extra fittings (just in case).

But make sure you do this final step,, enjoy the HELL out of that. Have a great time.

Yeah, enjoy it man! :)

I'm not jealous. No, not jealous at all. Not in any way, shape or form. Really I'm not. Honest... Bastard.

Took the day off of work and got the Titan up and running. I ended up leaving the 780Ti in the system as a secondary GPU; it's not as good as SLI but it takes some of the load off the Titan.

Overall I'm seeing about a 100-150% improvement in 4K frame rate still only gets 10-30 FPS in Firestrike ultra so it's not where I was hoping it'd be but should be usable in anything that's not deliberately trying to overload the card; especially if I OC it a bit (running around 20°C right now so I've got plenty of room).. Once I get a second Titan in SLI those numbers should jump pretty good but that's still a way off.

Firestrike test result for anyone that's interested:
