Good afternoon, SCAA

Postby MagnumPI » Sun Aug 24, 2014 4:36 pm

Good afternoon, and a pleasure to be here.

My name is Adam, and I am an addict. *Hello Adam*

I'm the chief of Chimera Assets and Security Holdings, a consultant in NYC, and soon to be the semi-proud (I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM!) owner of my 50th ship. As that is a milestone for me, I'm trying to weigh on what it will be. Suggestions are appreciated.

I'm happy to join this community and interact with the fine folks here!

Best,
Adam

Wellcome Adam!

I'd say an M50 would be appropriate for a 50th ship. Apart from the number being right, it also has that sporty red "mid-life crisis" look to it that I find so appealing! Also, didn't Tom Selleck drive a red sports car on Magnum P.I.?

@Captain Glume, 45 is still no small feat! Good (or bad, depending) on you!

@Eris, an M50 is suitably crisisy...perhaps it wouldn't be in poor taste considering racing is coming soon.

I want to get my ship list down to 10. The rest will go to my RP friendslist org and to The Enablers. Or melt them for in game credits etc.

I'm in a similar boat. My actual personal hangar in game will only hold about 10 or so ships that I really want to fly or just want sitting around to look pretty. A huge amount of my investment in this game has gone towards building a community hangar for CASH and buying them treats, like an Idris and the Million Mile High club. I couldn't be happier with the group I lead, and they deserve the best. If I can give it to them, they shall receive.

Giving the drug of choice to addicts isn't the best strategy for somebody leading a Gamer's Anonymous group, you know :P

Auction! Do an auction! I needs more ships!

Seriously, I am very impressed and jealous. I have nine ships (I think), and I think that will be just fine.

The M50 or the 350R would be good for the racing.

Though I would hold out if I were you for the 890 pleasure ship as the cherry on top.

Well, the 890 was a given. Nothing gets me going like a ship that has no purpose but to be an ostentatious show of power :P

In all seriousness though, I do want one. Seeing as I'll probably never own a 300 ft. yacht in reality, I'll take what I can get for my few hundred dollars.
