NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti

Postby Dren » Mon Jun 01, 2015 9:58 am

This card seriously has a lot going for it. Titan like power for almost $400-less. This looks like the card that someone like me can find themselves investing in right before the full release of Star Citizen.

I'm considering picking up two of them. They'd be great replacements for my card
AEGIS - Gladius, Retaliator, Vanguard
ANVIL - F7C-M Super Hornet, T3A Gladiator
C/O - Mustang Delta
DRAKE - Herald
MISC - Hull A, Hull B, Star G
ORIGIN - M50, 350R, 325A

I plan on building a dedicated gaming cockpit PC and will be popping in whatever will run the best VR headset at full.

But I'd grab a couple of those cards for when I inherit the Dr.'s current PC and the Dr. gets a new super PC...

I really want to invest in the VR headset when they come out but I'm paranoid that it's going to give me motion sickness lol.

If you use it for things where you are sitting down it should be ok. Walking around might have issues... Who knows I guess we will all find out! :D
