Want to help out in OPPF but can't fight? Logistics is for U

Postby Captain Glume » Wed May 28, 2014 4:10 pm

If you are interested in helping out in a non fighting capacity, be it general Idris or Starfarer crew (non gunner), or want to run supplies or be in charge of a supply chain then post your interest here!

You can also list your available ships that you want to use/loan etc for this op.

Well, I'm interested in scouting and supply runs. For supply operations I can offer

Starfarer
Constellation
Freelancer

I might be able to do scouting in the initial stages and switch to suppy operations once the real fighting gets under way,

Scouting is handled by some OTHER division, some sneaky type that likes black and hangs out drinking latte's on their downtime. :D

This is the salt of the moon's real persons honest work! Thank you for your support. I am sure we will have more assets then crew and that is a good place to be! Plus, they will probably blow up and we'll need backups.

Depends on what transpires and needs I am willing to either provide logistics security or runs to planets/systems for resupply in my Connie or Starfarer.

Wonder how we can do inter-ship transfers of containers?

One dumps and one tractors I guess, or you back up to my cargo doors and we both open them and push the stuff across.

Seems like cargo transfers would be best done at some hangar. That would obviously be easiest and I expect it will not be hard to arrange.

Depends on how far away the battle zone is from a civilized system. I know the Idris can transfer cargo. But seriously, if the pirates can demand your goods we should be able to trade in the same manner.
